Brad’s new movie Moneyball hits the box office on last Friday, September 23rd.
The Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been together since 2005 and raise six children — Maddox, 10, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — who Brad admits are keen for them to tie the knot.
“The kids are putting on the heat. They really are,” Brad said.
For people who don’t know, Brad Pitt, 47, is a strong advocate of gay marriage and he has mentioned on more than one occasion that he and Angelina will not be getting married until everyone in the US has the right to do so.
“We live in this great country that is about freedom. It is defined by our freedom and equality and yet we allow this discrimination to go on every day and that’s not what we’re about,” he said.
When asked if gay marriage was legal, they would marry immediately, Brad replied, “It seems.”
It is a very altruistic statement, however lately, someone’s been pushing for wedding papers and the two may crack under pressure and get it over with. As for their 6 children, some of them who are too young to discuss such problems, but others who are already “putting on the head”, because Brad said something related that in a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
Brad Pitt has also addressed comments he made about his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, in which he is quoted saying he “pretended the marriage was something it wasn’t”, saying he feels his statement was taken out of context.
Even though Brad Pitt does not have his mind set on getting married just yet, it is worth mentioning that he already went through an impressive marriage with Jennifer Aniston. They spent 5 years together, between 2000 and 2005, after they met on the set of the TV show Friends. The couple separated seemed on account of the cooperative set of the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith between Brad and Angelina. The same year, Brangelina went official and they’ve been together ever since. Angelina Jolie, 36, was married twice in the past, once with Jonny Lee Miller from 1996 to 1999 and one with the famous actor Billy Bob Thornton between 2000 and 2003.

After three marriages put together, it is amazing to see that the two is not going to take the leap, especially considering the fact that they already have 6 children to nurse. But given the fact that most states are revising their gay marriage policies, it won’t be long until Brad words will be put to the test and every person in the US will have the right to get married. When that happens, we will be in for a fairytale wedding.
