**ASK** Plastic Surgery or Not?
« on: October 17, 2011, 09:58:46 am »

Hi everyone, I was seriously thinking of having plastic surgery done on my eyes and/or nose and/or breasts.... I have a consultation with Dr Wu in Febuary... now after reading all the posts (yes I spent the whole night reading them!! Very Happy) I'm pretty scared that I wouuld end up disfigured! And the prices scare me (I would have to spend my whole life savings!).

I'm wondering if I should even bother going for the consultation... or if I should go to Dr Huang instead....go to Thailand/Korea, Japan, or Australia or not do anything altogether. I have been pretty depressed and have been going through a really hard time for the past year and a half and was thinking of having the breast augmentation to lift my morale (I'm a 32A and have always felt inadequate as I am unproportate) or eye surgery as I have small droopy eyes that make me appear like I'm constantly tired! Plus my nose is flate and wide.. sigh...

Do anyone have any advice to give? Thanks guys

Hi Peiwan246

Why look down on yourself? As you have mention... the cost of the surgery is going to cost your life saving!!! It is worth doing it... And worst still you dont even have confidence that after the surgery will make you look better...

Yes evryone want to look beauitful.. Not unless you have the confidence that the surgery is very successful..

Be more confidence of yourself and bring the beauty out of it. Thats the secret of being beautiful in and out.  [Thumbup]

Have you guys try Jakarta Indonesia? Apparently there is an well known Boutique Clinic there which cater for Cosmetic & Beauty Enhancement. They have the most advanced laser machines, top Dermatologist & Cosmetic Surgeon practice there. A lot of positive writing about the Puan Jakarta Boutique Clinic so far. And importantly the service quality is 5 stars and pricing is very competitive. A lot of Indonesian used to travel to Singapore to do the procedures nowdays turn their back to Singapore. Their website is not great, however it give us a broad view of the clinic. www.puanclinic.com

Hi peiwan

personally i feel if you really have been depress about your looks for so long already, you should really do something about it. You might consider to do one thing at a time, do your eyelid surgery first as this is one of the cheapest among the other surgery u r planning to do, start slow, if you just go ahead n dump all your savings at one shot, n do everything in one shot, first thing u might want to consider is if people around you can accept a totally different you cause i need to tell you when you don't have double eyelid n when you have it, u'll actually look hell of a difference!! For me, i have double eyelid on my left eye, single on my left it actually bother me for many yrs cause my eyes look one big one small n its so obvious, used all sorts of methods to create ano double eyelid for my left eyes, tape, glue whatever it all looked un-natural finally one fine day i told myself i cannot take it anymore its so depressing, i just told myself i don't care just wanna do it whether it turn out ok or not it could just be my fate, i went for the surgery n now my eyes is balance oredi, both got eyelids. i'm more confident than b4 to dare to looked at people straight in the eyes, like you i had a lot of worries n money was a big concern i am 26 this yr i had the surgery done when i was 21 or 224 i was so desperate to get my eyes balance up i managed to get a friend to pay first n i slowly pay her bk which i've since did. No regrets till today, i was a bit rash then did not think so much abt the consequences n did not really went to find out the best surgeon to do it, luckily everything turn out fine. Actually its good to find out which surgeon can do a good job but again its always you luck n fate even if u go to the best surgeon if he tat day is tired or not in a good mood, he might not do a good job at all.

I had mine done in Singapore and it was a huge failure even after three revisions!
Don't want to name names but just to let u know, my doctor'c clinic is located in Mt E.
I will rather go Thailand than Malaysia and my frd had an eye and nose job there and it's great.
If cost and language is not a problem, I will definately recommend Korea as the place for plastic surgery.
I seriously regret not having it done there...I will definately not have any plastic surgery done in Singapore ever again!!!

Natural is best, once we age, everything droops, the beauty is only superficial that will last you till maybe only 40-50 years old...or even less than that.

It is totally depend upon the requirement of the skin and and the types of skin. Sometime plastic surgery give a person beautiful, young and attractive look while sometime it have some disadvantages which lead you to suffer.

There' was this well documented case of plastic surgery gone wrong in Singapore. The guy had to sue the surgeon. And he had to go overseas to get corrective surgery.

There are a few individuals who get surgical treatment and they look awful. But that's not the nasty surgery's wrong doing. That's the individuals wrong doing. I can truly, genuinely verify this. I was operating in a aesthetic dermatologist's workplace for a while where there were individuals who would fall serious cash on face shots.
